Community Involvement to Help Paint The Van @ Pedestrian Sundays in Kensington Market

Only weeks before we were scheduled to depart for Burning Man 2011, the vans paint job was still not complete. It is after all a rather large canvas and to this point only Alex Currie a.k.a Runt (you can read more about him on the About Page), the artist responsible for the rad paint job, and myself had been working on it.

Alex gave me a call and told me the organizers of Pedestrian Sundays wanted him to set up and do some live painting on the street. He asked me if I wanted to bring the van down and we could get passer-bys to pick up a brush and help us fill in the painting.

I was totally down for it and so were my parents and a few friends. Here are some photos from the fun-filled community involved day.
