I would first and foremost like to thank everyone that contributed to my dream by contributing to my Indiegogo campaign, be it with funds, a share, or even just positive vibes. Thanks to your support, the campaign raised $2500, which was 100% of what I set out to raise.
I said that if we reached 100% of the campaign goal, I would raffle off an original Al Runt (the artist behind the amazing mural on the hippie van) to one of the Indiegogo contributors.
I just held the draw using a website called RandomPicker.com, which allows you to enter names, and then it does some sort of mathematical magic that I really don’t understand, in order to randomly select a winner.
I entered all 36 contributors into the draw. And the winner of the Runt painting is….[drum roll please]….Jesse Cohen of Toronto!
Thanks again to everyone who contributed. You have truly given me a helping hand, and I hope my project has been, and will continue to be, entertaining if not inspiring.
Oh and P.S. I will start sending out the Indiegogo perks in the coming weeks, although those who claimed the alpaca mittens/socks will have to wait until I get to Peru.
